The things that break Laravel deploys on generic hosting - symlinks, stale workers, cached config - are part of the pipeline here.
The storage symlink survives deploys
Zero-downtime releases mean a fresh directory per deploy - which normally breaks public/storage and loses user uploads. HostPanel keeps storage/ as a shared directory across releases and re-runs php artisan storage:link on each deploy, so uploads persist.
Caches rebuilt, workers restarted
Every deploy runs config:cache, route:cache, and view:cache against the new release, then issues queue:restart so workers pick up the new code instead of serving jobs with a stale codebase.
Migrations on your terms
Enable php artisan migrate --force as a deploy step, or run it manually from the dashboard console when you want to review a migration first. Either way it runs before traffic switches to the new release.
Zero-downtime releases
Each deploy builds alongside the live release. PHP-FPM (or Octane) boots the new code, passes a health check, and only then does traffic switch. A failed health check means the old release keeps serving.
